ONE launches new intra-Asia service

Singapore-headquartered ocean carrier Ocean Network Express (ONE) has announced the launch of the new Korea China Straits 2 (KCS2) service.
The new service will commence from the port of Pusan on 6 July with the following rotation:
Pusan (South Korea) – Kwangyang (South Korea) – Shanghai (China) – Sekou (China) – Singapore – Port Klang (Malaysia) –Penang (Malaysia) – Singapore – Cat Lai (Vietnam) – Nansha (Guangzhou) – Pusan
ONE said KCS2 will provide direct service to Penang and Cat Lai, which has good access to the Ho Chi Minh City market.
"This is also a service enhancement from the current PF1 and VSS which ONE connects to Penang and Cat Lai respectively via Singapore," noted ONE in a statement.
